Our Worship

What should I wear?

Anything you feel comfortable in. Many members are dressed casually.

What happens during the service?

Our services are about an hour long, give or take ten minutes. Our worship is liturgical, meaning that it follows a similar pattern each week. The liturgy includes spoken responses, sung responses, Scripture readings, hymns and other short songs, and is highlighted by a sermon from the pastor, usually 15 to 20 minutes long. Music is played on organ, piano, and guitar.

What about kids?

We love having children of all ages at our worship services. We believe that families worshiping together is important. If your kids do get restless and you need to regroup, we can accommodate for that too.

OUR PASTOR- Jake Schram

The good news of Jesus is AMAZING!!! So amazing that many people didn’t believe it when they were first told. So amazing that they had to come and see it for themselves. I’d love to tell you all about Jesus right here and now on this website…but wouldn’t it mean so much more to you if you came and saw for yourself? To hear directly from God’s Word how Jesus saved you. To see his love in action among you. To watch his transformative Spirit work within you and enact change. Don’t take my word for it. Come and see for yourself. Welcome to Our Savior and Faith Lutheran churches!

Our Beliefs

We are a biblical church, wanting what God has to tell us in his Word to have the first place in what we believe and directing our world view.

We are a Christian church, gathering to praise God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) and to be strengthened by his Word. We reach out to those around us in Christian love with both the saving message and to meet local needs.

We are a Lutheran church. Through Jesus Christ's payment alone for sins God declares a person forgiven, righteous, and holy. This teaching of justification is our constant message.

For a more detailed explanation of our beliefs, see the documents below. "This We Believe" is a statement of beliefs from our national church body, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). The Augsburg Confession is one of the historic documents explaining what Lutheran churches believe, teach, and confess.

Finally, our pastor is always ready to study with you, from the Bible, so that you can see for yourself what God says.
